I recently made a test batch of cp soap with this FO (3%ppo). I had no problems working with it. It discolored to a light tan and smells amazing – a warm milky tea scent.

The scent is very subtle. OOB it’s stronger but after almost 3 weeks in CP soap, it’s very faint at 1% ppw. The scent is very sweet, slightly citrusy and very creamy. It’s a good quality FO but it is quite faint in CP soap. Next batch I will be using 2% and I will also be adding steeped earl grey tea to make it a bit more of a realistic scent.
My CP soap after almost 3 weeks has turned to a dark tan. Not quite into the milky brown zone yet. My CP was not coloured or had any TD added. My test batch was plain. I haven’t made my full batch yet but in my test, there was no acceleration, no ricing, no separating and no cracking. I make soap at 80-90F.
Overall, this is a very nice scent and I believe this will be popular with tea lovers in the fall. i would just increase the usual amount used in CP soap as I found it to be faint at 1%.

Used in car Freshies. Smells like the Tim Hortons version of this tea. Not over powering but just right, I had to buy a bigger bottle.
